Crete, Greece
27 April 2017

Nearing the end of my stay at Crete, and having found most of the targets, we looked for nothing in particular, and explored some edges of agricultural fields. We were drawn to these by rich stands of the beautifull while buttercup, Ranunculus asiaticus. And as so often, the location kept a few serendipities in store, such as the Monkey orchid, Orchis simia.
