| After one night in a local hotel, we had a magnificent breakfast so copious one could live for days on it! Actually, this was an ideal preparation for the day ahead of us. The final destination was the soda lake Acıgöl, where I expected to find some special plants in view of the salty soils of the lake shore. We made two stops before reaching Acıgöl, where we looked around at two locations a few km apart.
