Located a few kilometers east of Hraunfossar, this location gives access to a small canyon, Bæjargil. In the 19th century, several artists lived at Húsafell, and to date a sculptor works with the local stone. In the canyon, one finds various portraits on large boulders, made by either the old or the new sculptor. |
