Natural History Photographs


While the first stop may get your feet wet, after a dull winter in the Netherlands this doesn't quite quench my thirst for new plants and insects. So soon enough we made a second stop where I noticed the endemic Cretan Festoon flying around. Though you see these quite often, they are mostly not very cooperative when it comes to photography. But here I could take several shots at them, after which we went for a coffee in a nearby supermarket, where they sold living garden snails...
