The third place we stopped was along a quite river, with a lush vegetation. Cows took advantage of this by browsing the vegetation in the river! Along the river were reed beds with Soldierflies. Also I heared sizable flies passing by at close to the speed of sound, my hunch is this were Horse flies. Near by was a drinking pool for cattle, around which plenty bushes of Christ's Thorn, Paliurus spina-christi. |
