| After two nights in the beautiful hotel House of the Miyaks we moved to our final destination, the National Park Galičica, located in between lake Ohrid and the Great Prespa Lake. While these two lakes are separated only by some 10 km of land, the highest mountain between the two lakes reaches 2,250m. So the road from one lake to the other is long and winding. The day we arrived the mountain peaks were fully clouded, and there were a few short showers. So we decided to first explore the nothern shore of the Prespa lake. Meanwhile Matty drove to a nearby garage, for fixing some problem with the breaks. Later in the afternoon, I walked along the road leading to the hotel, where I found some magnificant galls on the Oak trees along the road. |
