| On Tuesday 2 August we visited the largest stave church, in Heddal; it also turned out to be the most touristic. Things well-maintained normally are not optimal for lichens, and though the wall surrounding the graveyard was overgrown with mosses and lichens, this location turned out less rich than other sites. |
