| One of the highlights of the Theth valley is the Grunas waterfall. Apparently, the source water exclusively derives from melting snow and rock water - something we couldn't confirm as we only visited the foot of the waterfall. The nebular mist resulting from the splashing water wettens the surrounding of the river bed, resulting in lush vegetation. From the dirt road, a bridge crosses the Grunas canyon, and then the track winds through wood lands up to the waterfall. There is thus a steep gradient of habitats, resulting in a fairly rich collection of photos. |
