The Pyramids of Güímar are six pyramid-shaped terraced structures built from lava stone without the use of mortar. They are a local turistic attraction that we visited not for the purpose of natural hisotry. However, the botanical garden around the pyramids sported various butterflies, and I focussed on them. I saw even one Canary Blue, but regrettably couldn't make a photo of it...
