When we observed the Bison and the Crane, we already noticed the geothermic activity nearby. Not nearly aware of how many of such areas Yellowstone harbors, we marveled for quite some time at small geysers, boiling mud and hot springs. We returned on the final day of our stay at Yellowstone, to explore the Firehole Lake drive at the other side of the Grand loop road.
