| From 3 till 8 April we stayed in the lovely village Kerames (just visible if the top left and top middle landscapes), at the same hotel as last year. From there, we had to cross a mountain ridge to get to Gious Kámbos. At the top of this ridge a series of huge windmills captures the eye from quite far away (top right landscape, seen from the gorge giving access to Gious Kámbos). After reaching the summit at ca. 700 m you go down again before going up again through Kissos to the plain Gious Kámbos. This page shows photos from the area surrounding the windmills as well as a location much closer to Kissos. Since we also stayed in Kerames last year and visited the windmill area already then, much at this location was quite familiar.
