| The visit of this area in this time of the year was not planned initially; rather, I has planned a trip much earlier in the year to the Peleponnesus (Greece), but family circumstances necessitated to cancel this trip. I had visited this area in June earlier in 2009 and 2012, but my focus then was wasps and flies, not plants. As it turns out, early June was also a favorable time for plants, especailly if one goes up to the mountains. |
